ACADEMIC FREE LICENSE (Limited Period: 2024 – 2027)

During the period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2030, LADOCK Desktop
is made available FREE OF CHARGE exclusively to eligible academic users under
the following conditions:

ELIGIBILITY
  You qualify for the free academic license if:
  - You are affiliated with a recognized university or academic research
    institution, AND
  - You access LADOCK using a verified institutional email address
    (e.g., .ac.id, .edu, .ac.uk, or equivalent national academic domain), AND
  - Your use of LADOCK is solely for non-commercial academic research,
    teaching, or educational purposes.

ACADEMIC LICENSE TERMS
  - You may install and use LADOCK on institutional machines for academic work.
  - You may share LADOCK with colleagues at the same institution.
  - You must cite the relevant LADOCK publications in any work that uses
    LADOCK (see CITATION section below).
  - You may NOT use LADOCK for any commercial purpose under this license.
  - You may NOT sublicense, sell, or redistribute LADOCK.

AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2030
  The free academic license period ends. Academic users will be eligible for
  a discounted institutional license. Contact the licensor for current
  academic pricing and renewal terms.

COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Any use of LADOCK Desktop by a for-profit company, contract research
organization (CRO), pharmaceutical company, biotechnology firm, or any entity
using LADOCK for commercial purposes requires a COMMERCIAL LICENSE, regardless
of the date.

Commercial use includes but is not limited to:
  - Drug discovery or lead optimization for commercial products
  - Providing docking services to paying clients
  - Integrating LADOCK into a commercial software product or pipeline
  - Internal R&D within a for-profit organization

   associated materials, is and remains the exclusive intellectual property
   of La Ode Aman.

   LADOCK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
   THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING
   FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE.

3. ATTRIBUTION
   All users must retain this copyright notice and license text in any copy
   or substantial portion of the software.

4. TERMINATION
   This license terminates automatically if you violate any of its terms.
